| André Turgeon - Toronto area
| Hello everyone, my name is André Turgeon, and I have lived in Markham, Ontario for the past 24 years. The Toronto Buttonville airport (CYKZ) is at five minutes from my house. I was born in the Abitibi region, more precisely in Malartic, and I have recently retired (Octobre 2006) following a 33 year career at IBM. I am a private pilot since 1977, when I obtained my license in Quebec City. My interest for aviation went up significantly when I bought a Cessna 185 amphibious aircraft in 2001. I have logged over 1100 hours on that plane, including two trips to the Bahamas and four participations in the International Air Rallye. I am a member of COPA, APBQ, EAA, and the Buttonville Flying Club. I would be glad to provide any help or assistance you may need while visiting this area.
